These disciplines have their own language, and that language must be mastered. There will be dozens (maybe hundreds) of textbooks that you will be required to purchase as you pursue a law degree. There will be many other reference books that you will want to own. There is not another reference book that will be of more value to you during your college years than A Handbook of Basic Law Terms.

Eventually, of course, you will have seen, written, and used the terms that are contained in this book that you won’t need any kind of reference book. But until that day comes, A Handbook of Basic Law Terms is a reference book that will serve you well.
